March 10, 2006, Newsletter Issue #7: Make That Coat Sparkle

Tip of the Week

Is your pet’s coat looking a little lackluster? If your furry little friend has lost his silky, shiny look it might be up to you to make sure that he gets it back. In order to maintain a healthy coat, animals need to ingest fatty acids. Here’s a little secret:Invest in a nice grooming comb to help keep your pet’s coat clean, shiny, and healthy. Select a higher-end comb with rounded tines and use it to gently groom and massage your pet. The friction that you will create will stimulate the fatty acids to transfer into your pet’s coat. If this doesn’t work, skin and coat vitamins might be necessary to improve your pet’s coat.
