April 6, 2007, Newsletter Issue #58: Make Good Pet Food Choices

Tip of the Week

Providing your pet with a healthy and balanced nutrition plan is an essential part of their care. Humans have the luxury of choosing from a variety of foods each day from which we can acquire vitamins, minerals, and proteins to keep us healthy. Our pets, on the other hand, eat the same thing every day. Be smart when you purchase pet food—read labels and compare nutritional elements. And, before you grab that $2 bag of grub from the drugstore shelf think about its side effects. Talk to your vet about your pet's nutritional needs. And, if your pet isn't getting the essentials from meals, it may be a good idea to look into a pet supplement. Take care of your pet and help him to feel good on the inside and look great on the outside through good nutrition.
